Mr. D. D. FAIRFOUL, Acting Assistant Superintendent

Age 32, married, no children.

Fairfoul enlisted as a constable in April, 1937, and was promoted through the ranks to his present rank in April, 1947. He is a capable and commientious police officer of marked ability. He is a fully trained policeman with experience in the general duties, traffic and the Police Mobile Force branches of the Police Force, and as a staff officer in Police Headquarters. He is at present doing staff duties in Jerusalem District Police Headquarters.

Fairfoul's emoluments are the same as those of Segrue.

Mr. H. GREENHOWE, Acting Assistant Superintendent

Age 31, married no children.

Greenhowe enlisted as a constable in June 1936, and was promoted through the ranks to his present rank in April 1947. He is a fully trained policeman having served in the general duties, C.I.D., Police Mobile Force and railway police branches of the Force, with experience of Headquarters staff duties. He commands at present a sub-division of the Railway Police and is an intelligent and capable police officer.

Greenhowe's emoluments are the same as those of Segrue.

Mr. R. V. F. TURNER, Deputy Superintendent

Age 32, married, two children.

Turner enlisted as a constable in July 1936, was promoted through the ranks to Assistant Superintendent in January 1941, and to his present rank of Deputy Superintendent in April 1947. He has a very wide knowledge of all police work having served in the general duties, traffic, Police Mobile Force and C.I.D. branches of the Police Force, and is at present in charge of Jerusalem District

C.I.D. He is an intelligent young man with considerable ability and a flair for C.I.D. work.

Turner's salary is in the scale IP.750 x 30 to LP 960 carrying expatri tion allowance of LP, 240 x 30 to LP.300. His present emoluments are

(a) salary LP.750, (b) expatriation allowance LP. 240, and (c) housing allowances LP.91.500 which amounts to IP.1081.500 per annum in addition to which he is in receipt of a variable high cost of living allowance.
